How does pricing work?

Our pricing is simple and transparent, with no hidden fees.

Our packages includes a flat service fee, which covers:

• Professional bartender(s)

• The agreed-upon service hours

• Portable bar or table setup

• Professional bar tools and equipment

• A hydration station for your guests

• Consultation, planning and preparation

• Custom beverage menu design

In addition, we charge $7 per guest, which covers all the bar products and supplies needed to serve your beverages for up to 5 hours, including:

• Mixers and juices

• Fresh fruit and garnishes

• Syrups and purées

• Ice

• Disposable cups

• Beverage napkins

• Straws

If you'd like something more customized, you can build your own package by selecting items from our À La Carte Menu. While you're welcome to mix and match services, our standard packages offer the best value, with discounted pricing on many of our à la carte items.

Do you supply alcohol?

Chilled Bartending + Events operates as a dry-hire bar service, giving you the flexibility to purchase your own alcohol while we handle the details. We'll create a customized shopping list tailored to your event, ensuring a smooth, convenient, and stress-free planning experience.

Are you insured?

Yes! Chilled Bartending + Events is fully insured and carries both General Liability and Liquor Liability insurance in accordance with California industry requirements and best practices.

Many venues require proof of insurance, and we're happy to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) upon request.

Are your bartenders trained?

Absolutely! All of our bartenders are professionally trained and hold current California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, as required by California law. Our team has also completed L.E.A.D. (Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs) training through the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).

Do you carry a Liquor License?

No. Chilled Bartending + Events is a dry-hire bartending company, which means we do not purchase, provide, or sell alcohol. The client is responsible for supplying all alcoholic beverages for their event, while we provide the professional bartending service.

If your event requires a permit to sell alcohol (such as a fundraiser or public event), the event host or sponsoring organization is responsible for obtaining the appropriate permit. In California, eligible nonprofit organizations may apply for a Temporary Daily License through the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).

Where are you located and how far will you travel?

Chilled Bartending + Events is proudly based in South Sacramento, California (95823) and serves clients throughout the greater Sacramento region and beyond.

We include 25 miles of travel (one way) at no additional charge. Beyond that, travel is billed at $1.00 per mile, round trip, with the final fee depending on the number of staff members required for your event.

For events that require extensive travel or late-night service, overnight accommodations may be necessary and will be discussed during the booking process.

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

To reserve your event date, we require a 20% non-refundable retaineralong with a signed service agreement.

The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, you may postpone your event one time, subject to our availability. Your payments will be transferred to the new event date. Any additional postponements or cancellations will result in the forfeiture of all payments made.

Do you offer a Military Discount?

Absolutely! We're incredibly grateful for those who serve and protect our communities. As a thank-you, we proudly offer 10% off our services to active-duty military, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders. Just provide valid identification when booking, and we'll be happy to apply your discount.
